CPR Prison Ministry (January 10) |
|
I finish working for Daylight on 31 December 2009 and begin with CPR on 1 January 2010, so it will be business as usual. I will be visiting the same establishments, conducting the same Bible studies and working with the same volunteers as before. Please pray for this changeover period. There is much work to be done and your support on the Saturday 30 January at Elmstead Baptist Church for the official launch would be much appreciated (5pm for a buffet tea and 6.30pm for the service). Brian Edwards and John Temple together with Timothy Laurence have been a wonderful support. In all my Christian ministry I don’t think I have known such overwhelming support, and that is saying something because the support of the elders throughout my time at CEFC (going back to John and Clem and then Phil and Ken), was noteworthy to say the least. James Dean has been an amazing ‘help’ in setting up a website (well he did it!), and Tracy Sickle from Hayes Lane has done all manner of admin. Chris Laurence in putting my booklets into readable works etc etc. There are others too who would be embarrassed if I mentioned them, actually the above folks would be too, but hey! The funding is in place to support me but NOT an admin assistant as yet, so please pray this will come to pass soon. I appreciate your prayers and support more than I can say. Serving together, David. |
